Based in Pittsfield MA, Figgy Tree Engraving is a small, locally rooted business specializing in custom laser engraving on wood, slate,faux leather, acrylic, and other natural materials. We create personalized gifts, memorials, home décor, and keepsakes with a rustic, heartfelt touch. Whether it’s a commemorative plaque, a one-of-a-kind sign, or a thoughtful, engraved token, each piece is crafted with care to reflect the stories and moments that matter most to our customers. Salutations, my name is Ian Tyrrell — owner of Figgy Tree Engraving! Born in Nottingham, England, I made my way to the U.S. in 1998, and now call Pittsfield, MA home. I’ve got a background in printing & design, and started Figgy Tree in 2023 as a little hobby in my workshop in Baltimore, MD. Now I spend my days engraving custom gifts, here in the Berkshires. I’m always up for a chat at one of the local markets, craft fairs, or over a pint of cider at one of the many libation establishments.
